FOREVER HONOUR'D vintage cameo ring
£32.00
rock 'n rose has unveiled a new and exclusive collection. using only the finest vintage lovelies, we have created truly unique pieces never to be repeated.
during the victorian period, it was customary for women to wear mourning jewellery to commemorate the loss of a loved one. after the death of her beloved prince albert in 1861, queen victoria stayed in permanent mourning until her death in 1901. these stunning, rare antique glass cameos were produced in the 1860s and signed with a small flower.
victoria herself is extremely detailed, from the curls in her hair, to the texture in the jewellery she adorns herself with. she and the background are matte, while the faceted edges have a high glossy finish.
we've remodelled this amazing piece into a wearable yet historical oversized ring with an aged brass filigree ring band.
cameo measures 1.5"/4cm in length.
fully adjustable ring band.
